Meet the coaches
Paula Buck
Hi, I’m Paula Founder of MyPilates, Pilates Practitioner, and fun-loving, young-hearted mother of two boys.
You could say I came to be a Pilates Practitioner by accident, but I believe it was only a matter of time before the profession found me. Pilates has been a part of my life in one way or another for as long as I can remember. Growing up as a gymnast, core strength was second nature. At just 4 years old, I was already mastering many of the basic Pilates principles I now teach to others.
Like many gymnasts, I faced my share of injuries. Though I overcame many of them, a recurring hip injury eventually led me to give up the sport I loved. I had surgery on my hip at 20, and by 35 I was dealing with persistent back pain following a triathlon. Surgery was once again on the table—but this time, I was determined to find another way.
That moment became a turning point. I decided to use everything I knew to live a better life—free from pain, medication, and recurring injury. In the process of expanding my education, I also began to address pelvic floor issues I experienced after having children. What I discovered through research, training, and connecting with others was that many of my symptoms were interconnected—and many others were struggling with the same issues.
It was clear to me then: I had to take what I had learned and help others live stronger, pain-free lives through healthy, intentional movement. I used the first lockdown to earn advanced qualifications in Pilates, and by the second, I was teaching free online classes five days a week for five months. The response was incredible. That experience inspired me to begin offering personalised one-to-one sessions and continue deepening my training. And the rest, as they say, is history.
As the founder of MyPilates, I’m so proud of how the community has grown. As demand continued to rise, we searched high and low for the right coach—someone who could bring their own expert knowledge, passion, and energy to our team. Now, with even more expert-led classes and personalised support, we’re helping more people move, feel, and live better every day.
Cassandra Jasper
I began dancing at the age of 3 and later worked as a professional dancer before qualifying as a gym and group fitness instructor. With over 35 years of experience in the fitness industry, I teach a wide range of classes including Spin, Weighted Workouts, Fitness Yoga, Reformer, and Pilates, and I’m also a qualified Sports Therapist.
After four years working at a gym in Germany, I took a year to travel through Australia, South Africa, Thailand, India, and Nepal, where I completed a trekking expedition. I’ve also managed gyms for many years while continuing to teach.
Outside of work, I’m a parent to a 14-year-old daughter and 18-year-old stepson. I love hiking holidays and have enjoyed adventurous experiences like tandem skydiving and paragliding in the German Alps.
